After moving around a bit as a child, my family settled in Raleigh in 1991 and I knew I was HOME!
I graduated from Athens Drive High School (Go Jags!) and then Western Carolina University (Go Catamounts!). After college, I made my way back to Raleigh to begin my career. For over 11 years, I worked at the State Employees' Credit Union as a mortgage loan officer and property management officer. While working in their real estate division, I honed my skills in negotiation and contracts while always "doing the right thing!"
In 2009, my husband and I bought a home smack dab on the Apex/Holly Springs line and we've fallen in love with the area. There's always a new brewery to check out or a new park to visit and the community envelops you with Southern warmth. I love showing people around the area and helping them find homes that fit their lifestyles & needs.
In my spare time, I love to sew, garden and take our 48-pound lap dog, Layla, to the park. I am thrilled to work for a company like BHGRE Go Realty that matches each agent's contribution to the local charity of their choice. I am proud to donate to the SPCA of Wake County, which helps animals in the local community through adoption, fostering, spay/neuter services, behavior consultations, the AniMeals program for seniors and much more.
My experience as a mortgage loan officer and with buying and selling properties for the Credit Union has prepared me well for representing buyers and sellers in the Triangle.
